Derby Mill Farm

I had a wonderful experience with Derby Mill Farms for our wedding! We purchased their flower buckets to create our ceremony flower arch, and the flowers were absolutely beautiful. Paula was fantastic to work with and went above and beyond to help us with our DIY florals. I loved that the flowers were locally grown, and the variety she provided was perfect for the natural, garden-inspired look we wanted. Paula also dipped the flowers to help with preservation and gave us additional guidance on how to keep everything fresh leading up to the wedding, as well as helpful advice for putting together the arch. The flowers were fresh, beautiful, and photographed incredibly well. We were able to create an arch that felt completely unique to our wedding, and the finished result was exactly what we envisioned. I would highly recommend Derby Mill Farms, especially to couples who want to incorporate locally grown flowers or are considering DIY wedding florals. Having Paula's knowledge and guidance along with such beautiful flowers made the process so much easier. Thank you, Paula, for helping us create such a beautiful ceremony backdrop!

If I could give 10 stars I would. First, let’s start with the ladies who own the farm. Paula and Vicki made this very easy. It seemed like Paula knew exactly what I wanted, and they came through. The flowers were beautiful fresh and I can tell that they were made with care. She explained the flowers to me as we walked through the farm. The pricing was reasonable and I had multiple compliments on my bouquet, the vases of flowers, and the boutonnieres. Please consider this Darby Mill for your wedding ceremony. They will not disappoint.

I had an absolutely amazing experience with Derby Mill Farm. I was only in Delaware for a short time and needed flowers very last minute on a Sunday. I found them online, reached out, and the communication from the beginning was excellent. I drove out to the farm to pick them up, and what made the experience even better was finding out that they actually grow their own flowers right there on the farm. Even with almost no notice, she took the time to put together a beautiful, fresh bouquet for me. You could tell there was real care and pride put into it. She was incredibly accommodating, friendly, responsive, and went out of her way to help me when she absolutely didn’t have to especially on a Sunday with such short notice. I unfortunately didn’t catch her name, but I believe she may have been the owner. Either way, thank you again for taking care of me! The flowers came out beautiful and the entire experience was fantastic. If you’re looking for fresh, locally grown flowers and someone who genuinely cares about what they do, I highly recommend Derby Mill Farm. I will absolutely be back whenever I’m in the area.

I love that Derby Mill Farm is a local, women-owned business, and the fact that their flowers are organically grown right on their picturesque farm in Dover, Delaware, made everything feel that much more special. My bouquet and the ones for our bridal party—including the men’s boutonnieres—were exquisite. I received so many compliments on how gorgeous the flowers were!
